Kenneth Ndemezo Karenzi is a Senior Associate offering expert legal advisory, litigation, and representation services to a diverse clientele. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD). In addition, he has earned specialised certifications in Plea Bargaining and Intellectual Property Law from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
An accomplished litigator, he regularly appears before Rwandan courts in cases involving commercial disputes, employment and labour law, banking and finance, insurance, contractual matters, and the enforcement of intellectual property rights. He is widely recognised for his meticulous case preparation, persuasive legal reasoning, and strategic approach to litigation.
Beyond his courtroom advocacy, he provides advisory services across a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including banking and finance, intellectual property, aviation, and regulatory compliance. He is also highly proficient in company secretarial services, supporting clients with company formation, statutory compliance, corporate resolutions, and the facilitation of board and shareholder meetings.
His responsibilities further include drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, advising on licensing regimes, and delivering well-reasoned legal opinions on complex legal issues. His comprehensive understanding of the Rwandan legal framework empowers clients to make informed, compliant, and strategically sound business decisions.
Kenneth is fluent in Kinyarwanda and English, with working proficiency in French and Kiswahili. He is a member of both the Rwanda Bar Association and the East African Law Society.
